Description

Carol Christian Poell: A true experimentalist with a couturier’s approach to  the avant-garde. Each hand-made object that leaves his studio is bespoke, a hybrid of artistic experimentation and traditional Milanese leatherwork.

Inspired by the Art Povera movement, The designer radically transforms familiar forms into decomposed objects. Each piece is imbued with this Romanticist philosophy: an amalgam of the grotesque and the beautiful.

AM/2524 High-top sneakers in wrinkled Kangaroo leather. A subtle triadic colour scheme showcases each material with a different hue. Features lace-up closures with oxidised metal hardware, padded collar, tonal pull at heel. Dipped latex rubber sole.
