Byan Donnely, known as KAWS, is a Brooklyn-based artist known for his "Companions": chimeric fusions of graffiti portraiture and Disney characters inspired by his double-life as street artist and cartoon animator during the 1990's. KAWS demonstrates an egalitarian high-low approach to his practice by exhibiting his "Companions" in a myriad of forms and availabilities: from large-scale sculptures in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles to small-scale figures on your desk or in your living room.
Designed to celebrate KAWS: Companionship in the Age of Loneliness at the National Gallery of Victoria, the No One's Home puzzle was made exclusively for the NGV and assembles into a Snoopy-shaped silhouette containing a colourful Pop Art painted interior. This set is in mint condition and is suitable for ages three and up.
